Just recently, I wrote a review of MarsEdit, saying in the introduction that I don’t like Qumana anymore. Today, I’m going to compare Qumana and MarsEdit, and I’m gonna run both of them through a series of tests and see if they suit different people in different situations, or if one of them is just not umm… good enough

Here is the MarsEdit interface, the work area. It’s clean and simple. Like I said in my MarsEdit review, the developer doesn’t clutter it up with useless features, but only places the most commonly used ones to keep it simple. Now have a look at Qumana (if I can get it to load; it’s already disqualified off the Usability round)

QUMANA HAS AUTOMATICALLY BEEN DISQUALIFIED OFF THE USABILITY ROUND; THE FIRST ROUND. WHY WON’T IT OPEN? I’LL CONTINUE THIS POST NEXT TIME…

Every time I have some brilliant things that I want to share with my readers. However, sometimes I have too many stuff to write about and it adds up to a lot of posts. I want to get these all out but sometimes, I don’t know when to write each one. I’m afraid that if I write them all at the same time, I might run out of things to write. But if I write them one after the other, it’s not how it happened chronologically. A weblog is supposed to have its posts ordered like entries in a diary or journal, so this will defeat the purpose of a blog. However I thought if I write about them in one post in little detail, then reveal more later on, you will know how it happened in order and I’ll be able to reveal the information slowly, without stressing my brain

So I thought I’d write a post listing all the upcoming posts you should expect. And here they are in chronological order:

  1. Review of MarsEdit
  2. Qumana vs MarsEdit!
  3. I’m now using pictures on this blog!
  4. Programming languages I want to learn
  5. The first 10 Mac apps I downloaded when I got my first Mac
  6. My favourite Mac apps for blogging
  7. My top 5 Mac apps

And that’s it. I hope you enjoy these future posts
